Madals are typical Nepali musical rhythmic instrument. If there is no Madal sound in folk music/songs it is considered not a Nepali folk music/songs. Madal has right and left round parts covered with animal skins. In outer layer of these skins there are special Masalas coated by hands several times. There are special ethnic group who makes Madals still as tipycal ways and mostly found in Nepal.
